If you have a question about any of my products or making an order,  please feel free to get in touch.

  • Are all your products handmade?

The majority of  products are hand made by myself, from scratch, at my studio in Scarborough.  The only products that are not hand made are  mugs, coasters and ties -   which I design and print myself  onto bought in blank products.  Card designs are taken from my original artworks and printed by a local printer.

  • Will I receive the item in the picture?

Apart from mugs, coasters, and cards, all items are unique.  Unless specified as such,  the picture is just an illustration.  Fabrics, (of my own design,)  are incorporated into most of my handmade items, and these may vary from those illustrated.  If this is important to you,  please get in touch before ordering to discuss your requirements.  On request a photograph of the specific item to be sent can be emailed for approval  prior to dispatch.  Requests and comments can be added at the checkout in the 'Additional Information box'.

  • Can I order directly?

Yes please ring or email to discuss your order.  Payments can be  made by credit/ debit card over the phone,  by bank transfer or Paypal request.

  • What are the postage costs?

All online prices include delivery to mainland UK.  For postage anywhere else in the world please contact me.

  • How soon will I receive my item?

I prefer not to give a specific delivery time due to a variety of reasons.  I always aim to dispatch goods as quickly as humanly possible.  Normally  'Pebbles', mugs, coasters and cards will be dispatched within five working days.  (When possible they will be dispatched the next day).   Other  items,  (as specified in the product description), will be normally be dispatched within fourteen days.

As I work on my own, this may not always be possible.  Occasionally if I am away at a fair, particularly busy periods,  or heaven forbid  on holiday!!,  estimated  times may not be possible. On these occasions there will be a message at the top of the webpage to announce any expected absences. If time is an issue please contact me before ordering.  If  an order has been made and the time period is unattainable, you will be informed, and should you change your mind, a full refund  will be made.

Depending on your postcode, parcels are sent by Hermes on a two (working) day service. (Although there is no guarantee. )

For an additional cost, it is possible to send orders by a different courier or Royal mail, Next day service etc, please contact me before ordering.

  • Can you ship overseas?

Although the on-line shop only  accepts orders for the  UK, yes, products can be shipped all over the world. Please contact me directly to make an order and/ or for postage costs.

Can I wash my Vase? Bowl, Scarf?

All items can be washed - but the first option should be to wipe off any marks with a damp cloth.  Most marks will wipe off easily due to  the nature of the wool.  If washing is essential - so as not to shrink - items should be washed gently in soapy luke warm water with as little agitation as possible.  Rinse gently till all the soap is out.  Wring out excess water.  Vase covers  and t-light covers are best to be put back on the glass to dry.  Bowls should be re-shaped whilst damp and can be dried on the radiator.  (Bowls can be stuffed with bubble wrap or other stuffing to help keep shape whilst drying.)   Scarves can be dried on the washing line or radiator, and ironed on the back with a steam iron on a medium setting.  Please -do not put any of these items in the tumble dryer!
